This unique exhibition offers a fascinating mix of art by Mandi Baykaa-Murray and David Wettner

Mandi, ‘The Feather Lady’ is based in North Somerset and is best known for her exquisite paintings of birds of prey on real feathers. This unconventional medium has become her signature style and several of her feather paintings have won awards in various Wildlife Art Exhibitions.
David Wettner is a stained glass artist, and also painter in oils living in Mid Wales. His work depicts wildlife subjects & landscapes in stained glass panels and, uniquely, stained glass combined with locally sourced native wood in three dimensional pieces.

Open daily at the Elan Valley Visitor Centre.

Dambusters Walk

A 4 mile guided walk, including the remains of Nant y Gro Dam

A 4 mile guided walk to learn about the area, including the remains of Nant y Gro Dam which was used for tests before the WW2 Dambusters Raid.

There is a steep climb of 40 metres up the steps to the top of the dam and then a very steep 140 metre climb.

Meet at the Elan Valley Visitor Centre at 2pm, back about 5pm.

Join our Rangers at our Dam Open Day - an exclusive chance to venture into Pen y Garreg Dam and up to the central tower. Open between 1pm and 4pm.
Park at Penbont car park & take a walk through the woodland, up the steps to the dam entrance. There are steps inside the dam which may be wet & in some areas there are low light levels.
Children must be carefully supervised at all times. Dogs welcome on short leads.
Entry is £5 for adults & £1 for those aged 16 and under, with half of all proceeds going to WaterAid.
