Blow away the winter blues with a hike to a Roman Camp

Contact(s): Elan Valley Trust
Tel: 01597 810449
Sponsored By: Elan Valley Trust

Blow away the winter blues with a hike to a Roman Camp. This largely moorland walk takes us past Penygarreg Dam, climbs 200 metres to Crugyn before dropping down to the mountain road. The return route passes the Roman Camp and Esgair Parfedd then drops down to the Penygarreg Reservoir. A 10 mile walk with climbs and rough ground plus fords make this a challenging walk requiring a reasonable degree of fitness. Meet Powys Ramblers member Dave at Penbont car park.
