It is suggested that walkers carry food and drink and wear footwear and clothing appropriate to the terrain and the season. Leaders reserve the right to exclude walkers they do not judge capable of safely completing the walk from joining the group for whatever reason.
For all walks, except where stated differently, please meet at the Leisure Centre Car Park at least 5 minutes before the starting time. Dogs must be kept on a lead.

Dam Open Hour

Join our Rangers at our Dam Open Hour - a chance to go into Pen y Garreg Dam and up to the central tower!

Park at Penbont car park and walk through the woodland, up the steps to the dam entrance. There is no need to book, just turn up anytime between 2pm and 3pm.

There are steps inside the dam which may be wet & in some areas there are low light levels. Children must be carefully supervised at all times.

Entry is £5 for adults & £1 for those aged 16 and under. Half of all proceeds go to our chosen charity - WaterAid. Cash only at the dam, card payments at Visitor Centre beforehand.
