Rhayader, with a population of around 2000, the heart of Wales location is reflected in the friendly welcoming lives of the locals.
Whether you're a spring chicken or a wisened owl there's something for every age and interest in the numerous groups that have been set up by the active community of Rhayader and its surrounding district.
The area has always had a strong pride in its location and the people that live within it. Because of this we are very enthusiastic to make the best of what we have and make improvements to be even better. Regular events organised by the community bring the townsfolk together and draw in crowds from far and wide. We love where we live and want to share its wonderful atmosphere and scenery with you.
Many of the groups have an active program of activities and events and welcome individuals to join in their fun.
