Coming soon - with descriptions of each section of the trail and information about the churches currently being produced and maps being prepared that will be available to download and print off.
This is an exciting new project arising out of the St Gwrthwl's Festival annual pilgrimage around the Churches in our Group. Through an application to the Community Welcome Fund administered by Powys County Council it is hoped to establish the Trail for both local people and visitors to use. Walkers will have the opportunity of visiting Rhayader and the villages around the route, seeing our churches and learning of the heritage and culture of this area which was home to the Celtic saints of old.
