Brynafon is a magnificent building built around 1878 as the Rhayader Workhouse and has been converted into a 19 bed-roomed hotel with bar, restaurant, lounge and four conference rooms.  Open all day, all year round to non-residents for breakfast, morning coffee, bar meals, cream teas, welsh tapas and al-a-carte.  Catering for group bookings, special occasions, weddings and conferences.
